Maddie Lanier is a senior at Rose. This is her fourth semester in Journalism and she is a news editor. The article she is most proud of is “Students Strive for State Successes”.  She enjoys writing for the News section because it allows her to remain up to date with what's happening at Rose and it is a really straightforward and fun way of writing. Maddie is involved in SGA and FBLA at school. She also dances for Dance Unlimited in Farmville and this is her fifteenth year dancing. Maddie enjoys writing, volunteering, baking, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Maddie loves going to the lake and the mountains. Her favorite subject is English. She enjoys Journalism because it furthers writing skills, gives her an opportunity to meet and work with new people and allows her to contribute to the school and write articles. Maddie enjoys being involved with school and the community and is super excited for this semester in Journalism.
