Journalism has had a great impact on my life. Starting photography in the summer of 2024 I quickly gained interest. It has helped me to gain experience in the world of journalism. But that’s not when I started to be around journalism. The news is always on at my house and I have heard people on TV talk about sports since I’ve been a kid. Talk shows and podcasts have recently grown. These are great resources that have grown my knowledge of journalism. Photography has really drawn my interest. Viral pictures of dunks or buzzer beaters in basketball and touchdowns or interceptions in football have inspired me to catch one of these moments. I hope that through journalism I will be able to write better articles, take better pictures, and grow relationships with the players I'm taking pictures of.
