William Nuckolls is a junior at Rose. He is in his second semester of journalism. In his first semester of journalism, he wrote for news. William’s favorite story he wrote was about the new Finance Club coming to Rose. He was a photographer last semester in journalism. This summer, William went to the University of North Carolina (UNC) Sports Journalism Camp, where he learned how to write with more feeling and emotion. Nuckolls met UNC alumni such as Tyler Hansbrough and Justin Jackson. He’s in journalism because he would like to pursue journalism as a career. William would like to attend the University of Notre Dame, the University of Kansas, or the University of Missouri. He wants to continue to pursue photography and learn how to grow as a photographer. Nuckolls would like to learn this year how to write for sports, and other sections, as well as news.
