Ryan Jones is a Junior at Rose and is currently in his 2nd semester of Journalism. Ryan is a staff writer for the News section of the paper. Ryan fell in love with Journalism during his Sophomore year because of the classroom environment and being able to interact with other students to help construct a paper. Ryan really enjoys being able to be one of the first students to learn about new clubs, teachers and events that come to Rose. Ryan is involved in FBLA, Link Crew and Dream Team. Outside of school, Ryan is a part of Health Science Academy where he volunteers over the summer at the hospital. Ryan also plays lacrosse both for Rose and Team 91 Carolina. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the beach. He plans to continue taking Journalism throughout the rest of high school to continue improving his writing skills and help Rampant Lines keep putting papers together. After high school Ryan plans to go to a 4-year university where he will major in business.
