Emmy Ingalls, Sports Co-Editor

Emmy Ingalls_edited.jpg

Emmy Ingalls, a junior at Rose, joined journalism last year and is an editor for the Sports section. She loves watching and keeping up with all types of sports, especially basketball and football. When asked what section she wanted to write in, sports was her immediate answer. In her free time, she loves playing tennis with her friends or taking private lessons with her coach. She plays tennis for Rose and is also the Vice President of the Junior class. She also enjoys going for runs and traveling with her family and friends. Her favorite kinds of trips are ones to tropical places, and her favorite place she has been to is Turks and Caicos. Emmy really enjoys being a student journalist. Being a student journalist, Emmy feels like she can contribute her own thoughts and ideas to Rampant Lines and really likes this aspect of being a student writer. Emmy wants to be able to come up with really good sets of interview questions so that she can get really good and thorough answers from her interviewees to include in her articles. Another main goal of hers as an editor is to help her section writers become stronger and find the same love for journalism (and Hutch) that she has!
