Fans conspire over sparks beyond the script
The breathtaking chemistry between two of today's most adorned actors, Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, has fans infatuated with their relationship after the new “Wuthering Heights”.
Elordi and Robbie bring the script to life with their shared on-screen chemistry. However, their connection continues far beyond the scripted scenes and dialogue.
In nearly every interview, premiere, and photoshoot, they exchange intense eye contact or playful banter, leading to allegations of their affair. Many are shocked to find that Robbie has a husband and a child after seeing her and Elordi. Fans all over the media are throwing shade towards both actors, accusing them of the way they interact.

took his role above and beyond for Robbie by adding unscripted aspects that weren't initially planned, even while filming. For example, in an improv scene where the two are talking in the rain, Elordi places his hands over Robbie’s eyes to shield her from the rain. This is brought up in an interview where both discuss how romantic the act was. Robbie even explained how she brought this up to her husband in hopes that he would do stuff like that. While this is a small detail, many of these are adding up as fans catch on.
Some may believe that this overly-friendly relationship is a publicity stunt. Not because either of them needs the fame, but to draw attention to the movie. After all, these are some of today's most famous actors and could easily be continuing their acting off-screen. However, I believe it is highly unlikely that Robbie would agree to purposefully commit to a fake relationship while happily married.
So while I don’t agree with the theory that this is a publicity stunt or real relationship, I do see why fans are all over this duo. Not only are these matches for match in their acting abilities, but both of them are ranked high on people’s list of celebrity crushes worldwide, for good reason. Robbie was fan-voted as “the most beautiful woman in the world” as of this year, for her nearly perfect features. Additionally, Elordi also has a huge following because of his looks and charm that have women all over, starstruck. Robbie even mentions how her own friends were fangirling over him within the first few minutes of their film. Therefore, this would be a power couple in every regard, from fame to acting to looks.
Yes, this relationship sounds immaculate in theory, but the reality is that Robbie has a family, and strong on-screen chemistry is often simply part of playing a convincing love interest. It only comes into question when their chemistry seems to continue off-screen, blurring the lines between acting and reality. Whether this was a purposeful publicity stunt or not, they’re filling theatres and headlines with every charming stare.
