Nuckolls' Story

My name's William Nuckolls, and I’m a Senior Staff Writer. I wrote for News and Features and am currently a Features Writer. My favorite story I’ve written was on the new weightlifting equipment. I am a photographer and have shot a lot of Rose’s sports and this summer shot a jamboree at Cary’s soccer stadium. I’m in Journalism because of my interest in pursuing journalism and photojournalism specifically as a career, perhaps broadcasting as well. For college I’m not sure where I'm going yet, but my top schools are University of Chapel Hill and University of Missouri-Columbia. I hope to learn this year how to be more of a leader for the Photos and Graphics section and be more of a story-teller with my writing.
