Nuckolls' Story

William Nuckolls is a junior at Rose. He is in his third semester of journalism. In his first and second semester of journalism, he wrote for news. He now writes for features. William’s favorite story he wrote was about the new Finance Club coming to Rose. He was a photographer both semesters in journalism and in his last semester was also in broadcast. Last summer, William went to the University of North Carolina (UNC) Sports Journalism Camp, where he learned how to write with more feeling and emotion. Nuckolls met UNC alumni such as Tyler Hansbrough and Justin Jackson. He’s in journalism because he would like to pursue journalism as a career. William would like to attend the University of North Carolina, University of Notre Dame, the University of Kansas, or the University of Missouri. He wants to continue to pursue photography and learn how to grow as a photographer. Nuckolls would like to end this year as a better and more emotional features writer.
