McGavock Smith is a sophomore at Rose and this is her second semester in journalism. She signed up for journalism to improve her writing skills and get involved in the Rampant community. McGavock is now an editor and writer for the News section of the Rampant Lines newspaper. McGavock plays for the J.H. Rose women's lacrosse team and a local travel lacrosse team, 91 Carolina. She is involved in clubs at Rose such as Future Health Professionals, Health Science Academy, Dream Team, and the Student Government Association. McGavock loves working with other individuals and enhancing her writing skills while writing for the Rampant Lines.
