Porter's Story

Maggie Porter is a sophomore at Rose and this is her second semester in journalism. She decided to take journalism again because she loves the family aspect of the class and how close and tight-knit everyone is. This semester, she will be an editor for the entertainment and opinion section. Maggie plays tennis for Rose and also enjoys traveling and hanging out with her friends and family in her free time.  She is also a member of Student Government Association (SGA) and is a member of Rose Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). She is super excited for this semester and excited to continue growing in her writing skills in journalism this year.
