Porter's Story

Maggie Porter is a freshman at Rose and this is her first semester in journalism. She decided to take journalism because she wanted to strengthen her writing skills and had received recommendations from other students. This semester, she will be a staff writer. Maggie plays tennis for Rose and also enjoys playing in her free time. She is the secretary for the freshman Student Government Association (SGA) and is a member of Rose Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). She is super excited to improve her writing skills and contribute to journalism this semester!
