Ben Cathey is a freshman at Rose, it is his first semester in Journalism. Ben decided to join Journalism because he enjoys writing, and wanted to try something different. Ben heard from several of his friends that Journalism was a great class. Outside of Rose,  Ben enjoys playing baseball, competitive weightlifting, fishing, playing the drums and hanging out with friends. Ben is very excited to start writing for Rampant Lines, as well as to take pictures and interview people. Ben is ready to put his skills to use in a helpful way that will benefit the Rose community.
