Annie Sullivan, Features Co-Editor

Annie Sullivan is a senior here at Rose. Next year she will be attending East Carolina University as a nursing major. This is her second semester taking journalism and she is an editor for the Features section of Rampant Lines. She loves writing for Features because she is able to create compelling stories that can influence others. Annie’s interest in writing began last year when she was taking AP Lang and AP Seminar. These two classes allowed her to meet Mrs. Hutchinson and several students who have been taking journalism which sparked her interest and encouraged her to take the class. Outside of school, she loves to hang out with friends, painting, and substitute teaching at Jarvis Pre-K. She also has been playing lacrosse for six years now, but this will be her final season as captain of the Rose lacrosse team. Annie loves taking journalism because it is a very fun class with a great group of people who are all very entertaining and motivating. Annie regrets not taking this class all four years here at Rose. Overall, Annie hopes journalism will help her improve writing skills, and she hopes to write encouraging and entertaining stories for students at Rose.
