Maggie Jarman is a junior at J.H. Rose Highschool where she is participating in her fifth semester as a journalism student. Maggie has experience being a Features Co-Editor, as well as a News Co-Editor. She is also in the Quill and Scroll Honors Society, English Honors Society, and National Honors Society. She decided to take journalism again mostly due to her passion in writing. Maggie wanted to continue to improve in her writing skills and loves the collaborative environment that Journalism has to offer. In the fall, she plays for the J.H. Rose volleyball team. She is involved in Health Science Academy (HSA), Student Government Association (SGA), Dream Team and EC (Exceptional Children) Community, and Link Crew. Outside of school, she enjoys watching documentaries, being creative in her free time, hanging out with friends and playing with her dogs Coal and Scout. Maggie is looking forward to working with her peers and growing as a writer in every semester she takes the class.
